National Cadet Corps (NCC)

Unity & Discipline — Grooming the leaders of tomorrow and building a patriotic youth community at Sree Chaitanya College, Habra.

About the NCC Unit

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) unit of Sree Chaitanya College, Habra functions with the core objective of developing character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure, and ideals of selfless service among young citizens. Operating under the motto "Unity and Discipline", the unit prepares cadets to serve the nation in all walks of life.

Discipline

Cultivates physical endurance, sharp reflexes, mental focus, and respect for institutional hierarchy.

Social Service

Cadets spearhead local campaigns, tree plantation drives, health camps, and blood donation forums.

Adventure Camps

Provides training in obstacle navigation, shooting practice, hiking, and state coordination camps.

The NCC Cadets participate in local, state-wide, and national outreach drives. Major activities include:

Swachh Bharat Campaign

Cadets execute regular campus cleanup and local market cleanliness awareness programs.

Tree Plantation Drives

Annual environment day sapling plantations in and around the Habra region.

National Celebrations

Leading the flag hoisting parades on Independence Day and Republic Day with state-level honors.

Blood Donation Camps

Organizing medical help drives and voluntary blood donations with state hospitals.
